  We had a lovely stay at the resort. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great - some the best home cooked meals we've had in awhile. We enjoyed snowshoeing through the trails and skating on the lake (and so did our puppy). Hope to return soon!

  My family has been going to Cedar Grove for 50 years. It is cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. Three generations of us love our annual visits. When we are not playing outside on the lovely property, we are eating yummy food, enjoying the fireplace and playing games. A fantastic holiday!

  The reason they charge per-person is that 3 meals/day are included, and not optional.

  Pay attention to the pricing! Most hotels quote for the room. The rooms at Cedar Grove are billed PER PERSON. That $150/night for 1 night is actually $300/night for you and your partner.

  The food was great but you don't need 3 meals a day. Drive to Huntsville or somewhere and make a day out of trying some local restaurants.

  The facilities weren't that great either. A lot of the equipment was broken or out of service. Cabin was cosy but on the primative side.
