  Lovely building - was cold tonight inside though. Gorgeous fireplace but no fire which would have been cozy. Meat pie was good - but vegetables were barely warm and mashed potato bed was sour which usually means leftovers several days old. Price reasonable if food is cooked to order and not just warmed up. $9 glass of house wine was pricey I thought as barely 6 oz. would love to bring my family but hesitant on the food quality now

  Eight at the Norsman on Thursday night. Our waitress was great, but seemed overwhelmed even though she had few full tables. The wait staff seem to have little or no support, The owner was very present but seem to be more interested in socializing with his friends then helping out his team. Overall the food was very good, but very dated. The cuisine was very old fashion with portions two large too much sauce ET see. I had the veal schnitzel my husband had the ribs, the ribs were very dry and over sauce. For an appetizer we had The shrimp bruschetta which was very good but again a little on the heavy side. When looking at the whole atmosphere the restaurant itself and the cuisine it's like a flashback to the 80s overall with all the hype we've heard about this restaurant I don't think it lived up to the expectations. I don't think we will be returning

  The place was amazing. Kid friendly, beautiful and senic lake view. The food is amazing, the staff were very welcoming and the owners were very warm and kind. I will defiantly be back!
